Ovation Fertility Debuts Strategic Alliance at #ASRM2015
At this year’s American Society for Reproductive Medicine global meeting, Ovation Fertility physicians and embryologists demonstrated a collegial approach to reproductive medicine.
The newly formed alliance of the nation’s top IVF centers and laboratories was represented in poster sessions with displays of groundbreaking research, and at the lectern as presenters and moderators.
As part of that session Dr. Silverberg, an Ovation Fertility founding physician and member of the board of directors, addressed the financial implications of PGS as compared to the cost of recurrent miscarriage. Read more here about the findings.
Ovation Fertility IVF Labs Combine Forces
Ovation Fertility is a new venture established to combine some of the nation’s leading IVF laboratories into one entity that combines the strengths of each lab without requiring the physicians and scientists to sacrifice control or medical integrity to customary corporate oversight.
“What started out as a consortium of really good laboratories has emerged as a network that raises the quality of these stellar laboratories even higher,” says Dr. Silverberg. “Our relationship allows us to take the best features from each of our IVF labs and incorporate them across the network.”
For example, says Dr. Silverberg:
- “Our Orange County IVF lab has really perfected the technique for elective single embryo transfer, eSET.”
- “Our Las Vegas fertility center lab pioneered the move to transition from fresh embryo transfer to frozen embryo transfer.”
- “We have an IVF lab in Austin that studies the business aspect of IVF and the cost effectiveness of PGD.”
