Dr. Singh joined the Ovation Fertility IVF lab leadership team on February 7, 2022.
(Nashville, Tennessee) February 7, 2022 – Ovation® Fertility is pleased to announce that Nirvika Singh Sharma, MS, ELD (ABB), MBBS, ELS, ALS, has joined the company as an associate lab director, effective February 7, 2022. In this role, she will oversee IVF, embryology and andrology operations at the Ovation Fertility San Antonio IVF lab, while helping to ensure lab safety and compliance.

An ELD board certified IVF lab director, Dr. Singh brings eight years of operational experience as an IVF lab director, team leader, lab manager and senior embryologist in both the United States and India. She also has interdisciplinary knowledge in the medical field, having completed a Bachelor of Medicine-Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences in India, which is the equivalent to a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the United States. Dr. Singh also earned a Master of Reproductive Clinical Science degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Singh comes to Ovation from the Florida Institute for Reproductive Sciences & Technologies (FIRST IVF), where she served as the embryology lab director after helping to set up that lab in 2018 as a senior embryologist and lab supervisor. She previously worked for the Fertility & IVF Center of Miami as an embryologist. Prior to relocating to the United States to work at the Cleveland Clinic, Center for Reproductive Medicine, as a bench researcher and observer, Dr. Singh worked for the Dr. Shashi Sharma Hospital, where she established the Jind & Umeed Fertility Center in Haryana, India, as an embryology lab director and medical officer.
