Robert Chilton, Chief Operating Officer, Ovation Fertility
Chief Operating Officer Robert Chilton provides demonstrated healthcare operations leadership.
Chilton has more than 20 years of experience in overseeing operations for multimillion-dollar healthcare and biotech companies. As chief operating officer of Ovation® Fertility, he directs clinical operations, procurement, information technology, financial management, human resources and risk management for the company’s growing network of U.S.-based IVF and genetics laboratories.
As a member of Ovation’s executive management team, Chilton relishes his role in helping lead a company that assists men and women in their quest to become parents. As manager of a collaborative network of leading fertility labs throughout the country, he is responsible for strategic planning, operational streamlining and team leadership.
Prior to joining Ovation, Chilton was chief financial officer for Los Angeles-based Autism Spectrum Therapies, where he oversaw financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, treasury, information technology, human resources, facilities and procurement.
Chilton held previous positions with both publicly traded and private-equity-backed firms. He served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and general manager of therapeutic services for HemaCare Corporation in Van Nuys, California; executive vice president and CFO for Preferred Health Management in Los Angeles; and CFO for OrthAlliance Corporation. He has also worked as an auditor and senior consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick, a global network of firms that provide tax, audit and advisory services.

Chilton earned an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in business administration from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. He is a member of Financial Executives International and the California Society of CPAs.
