Sossy Ourfalian, CPA, MBA, Financial Controller

Sossy Ourfalian, financial controller, joined Ovation in 2020, bringing a decade of experience in corporate finance and accounting, as well as experience working in the fertility care specialty.

Ourfalian is responsible for reporting to Ovation’s investors and serves as the accounting team lead, maintaining financial reporting systems; analyzing financial statements; and managing payroll, budgets and tax compliance. She also plays a key role in acquisitions as Ovation continues its growth trajectory.

Prior to joining Ovation this month, Ourfalian served as controller for Pacific Fertility Center Los Angeles, where she worked closely with the board of directors, analyzed key performance indicators, and maintained all aspects of the practice’s financial operations, from billing and collections to budgeting and controls.

Prior to that role, she was senior manager of financial planning and analysis for HRC Fertility Management. She built her early finance career as a senior accountant at Kitson Retail Company, followed by four years as a senior financial analyst with The Walt Disney Company.

A Certified Public Accountant, Ourfalian holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Woodbury University and has served on the faculty of economics at Aleppo University.
