The outstanding team of scientists at Ovation Fertility San Antonio is led by Matthew “Tex” VerMilyea, PhD, HCLD/CC. After completing his undergraduate studies at Cornell University, Dr. VerMilyea earned a Ph.D. in genetics from The University of Birmingham, School of Medicine, Institute of Biomedical Research, Birmingham, UK. Dr. VerMilyea worked at leading fertility centers in the United States and New Zealand before joining Ovation Fertility, where he has become one of the most prolific researchers in a research-centric organization focused on advancing the state of the art in fertility care.
Our Central Texas IVF laboratory adheres to evidence-based standards for world-class IVF laboratories, and meets or exceeds all local, state and national standards. The lab is CLIA-, CAP- and FDA-certified, and our scientists are honored to serve as CAP inspectors, helping to improve other fertility labs nationwide.
