Pradeep Warikoo, PhD

A leader in the field, Dr. Warikoo has been directing IVF laboratory for more than 30 years’, receiving his PhD from the University of Delhi, Delhi, India. And post-doctoral research with Professor. Barry D. Bavister at Primate Research Center, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI. Dr. Warikoo became Director of IVF laboratory at Southern California Fertility Institute, Santa Monica, California in 1989, his passion took him back to mid-west at FIRST IVF in Saginaw Michigan. In 1993, Dr. Warikoo was invited to setup and start an IVF program at the Department of OBGYN, University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN., where he not only helped patients to complete their family but also was involved in teaching OBGYN residents. Dr. Warikoo has been the scientific director of ART laboratories at Bethesda Fertility Center, Cincinnati, Ohio from last 25 plus years. Dr. Warikoo has held Associate Professor’s position at Tennessee and Clinical Associate Professor at Wright State University, Dept. OBGYN.

Dr. Warikoo has several publications in peer reviewed journals, book chapter, taught on various aspects of assisted reproductive technologies for last 26 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis, to direct High Complexity laboratory (HCLD), human embryology laboratory (ELD) and as a clinical consultant (CC) from last 27 years. Dr. Warikoo’ s research interests are in Oocyte maturation & cryopreservation, Blastocyst development and preimplantation diagnosis.
