(Los Angeles, California) May 23, 2021 Charles will lead Ovation’s process for mergers and acquisitions, helping Ovation expand its national network of top-quality IVF laboratories.
Ovation® Fertility has hired experienced healthcare mergers and acquisitions leader Danny Charles, CPA, as vice president of business development. He will be responsible for identifying and executing on IVF laboratory acquisition opportunities to expand Ovation’s national IVF lab network.

Charles joined Ovation in April 2021, bringing extensive, specialized healthcare M&A experience in transaction evaluation, negotiation and due diligence.

Charles comes to Ovation from his prior role as a director in the Transactions Services Group of the consulting, tax and audit firm Katz, Sapper & Miller. In that role, he worked with private equity firms and investors to help buyers assess all financial and risk aspects of potential acquisitions, and with sellers and investment banks to evaluate and resolve any possible issues with deals prior to closing.
Earlier in his career, Charles led mergers and acquisitions for a private-equity-backed anesthesia practice management company, aiming to expand the organization regionally through new physician partnerships in key markets. He previously gained experience with transaction advisory and due diligence at a large, global professional services and consulting firm.
Charles earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, as well as a Master of Accountancy degree, at the University of Kentucky. A Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
