Peter Casson MD

Peter Casson MD, FACOG, FRCS(C)

In conjunction with Christine Murray MD, Peter Casson MD founded Northeastern Reproductive Medicine in Colchester, Vermont. Serving men and women from Vermont and Upstate New York, as well as from across the United States and Canada, Dr. Casson and his team focus on providing outstanding, personalized, compassionate care to every individual.

Dr. Casson has special expertise in infertility, assisted reproductive technology (ART), laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, as well as androgens in women. He is a nationally recognized researcher who has published more than 60 peer-reviewed studies and multiple book chapters. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) have provided extensive for his research efforts.

Peter Casson MD is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He brings extensive experience in reproductive medicine to every patient interaction. For 15 years, he worked at Fletcher Allen Health Care, where he served as REI division director for five years and was instrumental in groundbreaking research involving polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and primary infertility.

Dr. Casson has served on the Executive Committee of the New England Fertility Society, representing Vermont in this non-profit organization that provides continuing education for infertility professionals.

Peter Casson MD earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Queen’s University School of Medicine in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Casson performed his Fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
