Dual board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Dr. Glenn Weitzman is a skilled clinician and surgeon, with a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery. For more than 30 years, Dr. Weitzman has contributed to increasing the effectiveness of advanced reproductive technologies.
A clinical associate professor at Meharry Medical College and clinical assistant professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Dr. Weitzman devotes time to instructing the next generation of physicians and surgeons. His students acknowledged his commitment and selected Dr. Weitzman for an award recognizing faculty who had the most significant impact on their medical education. His academic posts also included professorships at the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Dr. Weitzman was educated at State University of New York, graduating with high honors with a degree in biological sciences. He was accepted to the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed his residency and reproductive endocrinology fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. At Johns Hopkins, he was singled out to receive the Laurel and Clarence H. Koenneckei Award for showing the most promise in the surgical field of gynecology. He has a special interest in robotics, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic minimally invasive surgery.
He is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Society of Reproductive Surgeons and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Weitzman also contributes to leading industry publications, JAMA, Fertility and Sterility, and Nashville Parent Magazine. He advocates for the greater infertility community as a legislative monitor for the American Fertility Society.
